Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, engaging Aliso Creative Co Pty Ltd (trading as Aliso Digital Design Studio), receiving an estimate, being issued an invoice, or upon the commencement of any work, you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using this website and our services.
2. Payment Terms
- Full project fees are due upon project completion, before the release of final deliverables, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All invoices must be paid within 14 days from the invoice date.
- Late payments will incur a 5% monthly fee after the due date.
- For fixed-term projects, a 25–30% deposit is required upfront, with the remainder billed at a daily rate (AUD only).
- Preferred Engagement: We prefer daily rate engagements.
- Additional work outside the agreed scope will be billed separately at AUD $650 per day, excluding GST (GST will be added on top).
3. Scope of Work

Services include (but are not limited to): user guides, manuals, work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, process maps, training guides, PowerPoint presentations, reports, infographics, document design, desktop publishing, quick reference guides, cheat sheets, quick reference sheets, and annual reports.

Exclusions: We do not provide bids, tenders, UX work, website design, website copy, copywriting, or related documentation.

Consulting on best practices is offered, but no formal training sessions are provided.

Additional work outside the agreed scope will be billed separately at AUD $650 per day, excluding GST.
4. Timeline & Delivery
- Timelines will be mutually agreed upon and adhered to as closely as possible.
- Delays caused by the client (e.g., late feedback) may impact delivery schedules.
- Timeline changes due to scope adjustments will be communicated promptly.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
- Intellectual property remains with Aliso Creative Co Pty Ltd until full payment is received.
- Upon payment, ownership of final deliverables transfers to the client.
- Portfolio Rights: Aliso Creative Co Pty Ltd retains the right to showcase non-confidential work, including business names, in portfolios and marketing materials.
- Confidential Data: May include, but is not limited to, financial data, proprietary processes, trade secrets, client/customer information, and internal policies. Such data will be redacted before public use.
6. Use of Tools & Technology
- We reserve the right to use appropriate tools, including AI-assisted technologies, Microsoft Office 365, other cloud-based tools, and local software.
- We are not responsible for the cybersecurity practices, privacy policies, or potential data breaches of third-party platforms.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations after project commencement will incur fees covering all work completed plus the full remaining project value.
- Completed work is non-refundable post client approval.
8. Project Resources & Collaboration
- Trusted subcontractors, both local (Australia-based) and international, may be engaged. All subcontractors are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- The selection of subcontractors is at the sole discretion of Aliso Creative Co Pty Ltd.
9. Confidentiality & Data Security
- Client data will be safeguarded using multi-factor authentication, antivirus protection, and secure cloud storage via Microsoft Office 365.
- Other cloud-based and local tools may be used; Aliso Creative Co Pty Ltd is not responsible for their data security practices.
- Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and understand that data security on their end is also essential.
10. Liability & Warranties
- Aliso Creative Co Pty Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Clients are responsible for final proofreading. Errors identified post-approval will incur additional fees.
- We do not guarantee long-term accuracy of content due to potential changes in software, systems, or processes.
- We are not liable for inaccuracies based on client-provided information or changes post-delivery.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
